Our Story

It all started with a spark

30 years ago we put on our welding gloves and set off on the great adventure of being your own boss.            We didn’t have much. Working out of other people shops, it was hard to get off the ground. A repair here, a spot weld there, we soon became known for the quality of our work. With a little persistence and help from friends and family we  grew into a shop in the heart South East Los Angeles. 

Being part of such a diverse community meant that we worked with all types of business owners and their individual food style. BBQ, Greek, Italian, Ice Cream, even Lobster, we got pretty good at building a kitchen around our customers needs. 

With every truck we helped create we learned something. We learned which regulators were the best for specific food types. We learned which refrigeration unit lasted the longest. We could even guess the weight of a catering stove just by looking at it. The most important thing we learned was, that as proud as we were of the work we did, it was nothing compared to the look of pride in our clients faces when they saw there new mobile kitchen.
